I love early 911s, especially the short wheelbase version.  My current 911 is a 2.3 twin-plug 1967 911S lightweight that I have owned, modified and time trialed since 1979.  It is everything I believe a sports-purpose, early 911 should be: visceral, urgent and responsive.

I was born a hands-on mechanical engineer and after 25 years as a design engineer and later as a VP of engineering for a division of General Dynamics I started Performance Oriented to combine my technical experience with my passion for Porsche 911s.  The depth of technical and historical knowledge required to provide my services constantly stimulates me to deliver ever higher standards of quality.

I consider Weber carburetors as works of engineering art and service them as if my own.
