Weber 40 IDA 3C carburetors are getting old and as a result are becoming more difficult to tune. Smoking, 'sniffing' through the intakes and other drivability problems may cause frustration and reluctance to drive the vehicle displaying such issues. The cause of many of these issues is usually related to wear in the throttle shafts/throttle shaft bores and wear of the butterfly valves. Both of these are readily resolved by the remanufacturing process offered by the Level One Service option. Other levels of effort are offered to allow selection of services tailored to a customer's preferences.
