Personal
I love early 911s, especially the short wheelbase cars. I've owned, wrenched-on and modified over 50 personal vehicles including: (3) SWB 911's, (6) BMW 2002's, (1) Lotus Elan, (2) Mini Coopers, (2) Bevel-drive Ducatis, (2) Triumph Bonnevilles and various other similar toys. My current 911 is a 2.3 twin-plug 1967 911S lightweight that I have owned, modified and time trialed since 1979. In short, it is everything that an early 911 should be: visceral, responsive and above all: 1QuickS.
I grew up working in my father's shop and later became a mechanical design engineer to fulfill my curiosity about machine design. I applied my engineering disciplines to the development of remanufacturing and modifying Weber carburetors. There is a great depth of technical knowledge required to perform the service I offer and I am constantly stimulated by this challenge. In addition to the technical challenge I find that the people needing help with their Webers become my friends in the process of the project; an unexpected benefit.
If selected for your Weber project I would work on them as if they were my own; I consider Webers to be valuable works of engineering art.
Thank you for your interest and Cheers!
