Level 2
Pair of IDS's with correctly restored OEM finishes
Original finishes preserved as delivered in 1966 and 1967 year models. Note black finish for venturi grub screws, folded-spring shaft couplers and concentric shaft return spring and note yellow zinc finish for top cover vent pipes; accelerator pump bodies and covers left un-plated while zinc plating without yellow chromate finish is used for the remainder of the steel components. Throttle bodies were cleaned to preserve patina; fixed-length accelerator pump rods, short ratio accelerator cam levers and the folded-spring shaft couplings were retained as original.
