Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a project take to complete?

A typical project takes one to three weeks to complete once the work has begun.  This assumes the project has been fully planned in advance regarding the scope of work to be performed.  This is part of the Price Proposal process that precedes each project.  Please refer to our Scheduling web page for more information.

How long until my project is begun?

Our backlog is typically six months, this means that once a Customer Service Number has been assigned it will be approximately four months until work on your project will begin.  Please refer to our Scheduling web page for more information.

How do I schedule my project?

Each project is assigned a Customer Service Number after contacting us via email or by receipt of the carburetor project.  Please refer to our Scheduling web page for more information.

How do I ship my project?

Please refer to our Shipping web page for detailed packaging and shipping instructions.

Do you service other carburetors than Triple throat Webers?

Occasionally service is provided for those items outside our standard service offerings.  Since these projects tend to be unique to us they typically disrupt the flow of work in our shop so pricing must reflect the inefficiency and learning curve required to provide service to our standards.

We refer service to Aaron Burnham of Burnham Performance (805.240.6931; email: Aaron@BurnhamPerformance.com) for the following projects:

  • Solex 40PI
  • MFI throttle bodies & Intake stacks

When may I ship my project?

We need to receive your project approximately two weeks before service begins, this is required so we may generate a Price Proposal for approval in advance of the project's initiation.  We will alert you in a timely manner in advance of your project so you may make preparations for shipment.

It is also acceptable to ship your project at any time before your service date, we are happy to receive and hold your project here.  This might be an advantage regarding schedule since your project may be pushed forward in the schedule for our convenience.
